The main goal of any electrician who works with cable cutters or a telephone sales interviewer is to get noticed enough to earn a raise or a promotion. Or both. Who doesn't think about going to work at their job selling horse fencing supplies not thinking about how they deserve a raise or promotion? If you didn't have any goals to strive to you wouldn't have much motivation to do your job. All you'd end up doing would be going through the motions from the moment you arrived for work all the way up to the moment you punched out for the day. Then you'd repeat the process the next day and the next day and the next day.

Nobody wants that. Your boss needs you to be working at your best behavior and you need to have goals you want to achieve that will make you want to stay at your Eugene or Toronto printing company. It's no fun bouncing around from job to job so if you have one you like then you should try everything in your power to make sure you stick around for a very long time. The first thing you should do, which you probably already do anyway and don't need us telling you, is to just do your job. It might sound easier but in some cases people have a hard time staying on track at work. They goof off, show up late, call in sick too often, take long lunch breaks, etc. If you show up to work everyday for your sewage disposal and do so by always being on time and actually do the job you're supposed to you'll catch they eye of a supervisor or boss at some time. You have to. By showing them how hard of a worker you are and showing off your work ethic they will trust you with more responsibilities, which could lead to a raise.

Another thing you should do that could lead you to getting promotes is show initiative. Don't just what around for a project to be given to you, ask for one. Take on more work than you're being assigned. This shows how much of a go-getter you are and that is never a bad thing.

Be a leader whenever you can and take command of situations when the need arises for you to do so. If your company needs to rent out a wedding rental Hamilton or Eugene hall but can't find you should go out and start the search committee. Show how much you want the company to succeed and care and the company will think that you truly do care and want to be there for a while.
